Beating the Heat with Homemade Lemonade: Short Hills Week 2

Hello campers! As we continue enjoying another exciting week at International Ivy, today’s warm weather gave us the perfect opportunity to cool off with a refreshing summer treat. Campers had a great time making and sampling homemade lemonade while spending time with friends and enjoying the sunshine. It was the perfect way to stay cool, get creative, and make even more summer memories. This week, campers became junior chefs as they measured ingredients, squeezed lemons, mixed everything together, and sampled their refreshing creations. They also compared different flavors, shared their favorite recipes, and enjoyed seeing how small changes in ingredients could create a whole new taste. Along the way, campers shared that they learned the importance of following directions, working together, and being willing to try something new. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store for our campers at International Ivy!
