Makey Makey class brings electrical engineering to life through hands-on creativity and invention. Campers use Makey Makey circuit board kits to connect everyday objects to a computer, turning those objects into keyboard keys, mouse clicks, instruments, and controllers.

With conductive materials like fruit, foil, coins, and graphite drawings, students explore how circuits work and how computers receive signals. A banana can become a piano key, while a simple drawing can become part of an interactive game.

This class introduces the fundamentals of electricity, circuits, and computer input in a fun and approachable way. Through tinkering, testing, and building, campers strengthen problem-solving skills while creating unique projects that combine science, technology, and imagination.
