Today’s case consisted of an intense battle over an injury suffered from a flying golf ball. The plaintiff Jason Compson sued the defense Green Acres for compensation for causing emotional and bodily harm. Compson was in his living room hanging a mirror that belonged to his father over a mantel when a golf ball from the nearby golf course hit him in the head, causing him to drop the mirror and fall of a ladder. He sustained a head injury, two black eyes, and minor cuts to his legs. Both the plaintiff and the defense examined Jason Compson, the Vice President of Green Acres and a Professional golf player. After the intense questioning the jury came to a decision the defense were triumphant in convincing the jury that Compson had faked the injury over displeasure in making the golf course public.
