Battles of the Bridges! Chatham 2025 Week 2

This week in Chatham, we have some civil engineers in the morning. They have been learning all about what makes a bridge strong, effective, and being able to sustain a significant amount of weight. These young engineers then put their skills to the test by creating their own bridges with popsicle sticks and wood glue. The campers teamed up in teams of 2 in order to discuss and brainstorm designs that would make their bridges the most effective.

The campers spent yesterday constructing their bridges, and today was testing day! The campers battled it out to see whos bridge could uphold the most weight! Check out the video below to see the videos in action!
