This week has been full of creativity, problem-solving, and imagination at camp!
Our Civil Engineering class is taking on the ultimate challenge of building bridges using just 50 popsicle sticks, wood glue, binder clips, and tape! Their goal? Create a bridge that can span a one-foot gap, hold as much weight as possible, and still have room for a wooden dowel to pass through the center. But there’s a catch; they can’t glue or tape their bridge to the desk! With lots of teamwork and clever designs, these engineers are hard at work testing and improving their builds!

Meanwhile, our Stop Motion Animation class is busy turning imagination into movies! Using iPads, campers are creating their own films with paper sets, LEGO props, and a whole cast of characters made from play dough and toys. One student is recreating a dramatic scene from the Titanic, complete with tiny boats and icebergs. Another is making an action-packed adventure about chasing a video game character!

It’s been an awesome week of engineering and storytelling, and we’re so excited to see all the finished projects come to life!
