Today at camp, we took a trip out West—no plane ticket required! Country Western Theme Day was a rootin’-tootin’ good time filled with cowboy hats, bandanas, boots, and big smiles. Campers and staff alike went all out, dressing up as cowboys, cowgirls, bandits, sheriffs, and even a few prairie animals for good measure!

From the moment the day kicked off, it was clear the Wild West spirit had taken over. The hallways echoed with shouts of “Howdy!” and “Yeehaw!” as our little ranchers strutted their stuff. Whether they were wearing plaid shirts, denim overalls, fringe vests, or sparkling cowgirl boots, everyone looked ready to wrangle some fun.
At break, we gathered for a real treat—country line dancing lessons! The music played, the boots stomped, and the campers learned classic moves with the help of our talented staff (who clearly had some hidden dancing skills!). From the grapevine to the boot scoot, everyone had a blast stepping in time and laughing through the two-steppin’ fun.

Meanwhile, our Escape Room class took things to the next level with a Western-themed scavenger hunt. Campers became outlaws on a mission, searching high and low to find hidden clues and solve puzzles scattered throughout the camp. They worked together, cracked codes, and unearthed treasures worthy of the Old West!

The day was a perfect mix of adventure, creativity, and good old-fashioned fun. Whether dancing in the theatre or solving Western mysteries, everyone had a rip-roaring great time. We’re already tipping our hats to the next theme day—because this one sure set the bar high!
Until then… happy trails, partners!
