Today at camp, creativity and innovation took center stage as our campers participated in an exciting and entrepreneurial Shark Tank class! Just like the hit TV show, our young inventors pitched their big ideas to a panel of tough but fair “sharks”—played by none other than our amazing counselor, a seasoned camper, and site director. With courage, passion, and a healthy dose of imagination, these campers wowed the room with their next-level product designs.
Here’s a sneak peek at the lineup of groundbreaking inventions:
- A Glucose Monitor Replacement – One camper tackled health tech head-on with a new design to replace traditional glucose monitors. It was aimed at making life easier and more comfortable for people with diabetes—what a thoughtful innovation!

- Software for Musicians Without Instruments – This digital platform would allow aspiring musicians to compose, practice, and record music even if they don’t have physical instruments. The sharks were impressed by the inclusivity and accessibility of this tool.

- A Basketball Game for the Beach – Just when you thought beach days couldn’t get better, this camper brought a fun, sandy twist to the classic game of hoops. A portable, durable basketball set built for the beach? Sign us up!

- Unhackable AirTag – Safety and security were the focus of this pitch. With all the concerns about digital privacy, this camper introduced a tracking device that can’t be hacked or tampered with—a big hit with the sharks.

- Sneakers That Help You Jump Higher – Designed with sports enthusiasts in mind, these futuristic sneakers give you an extra spring in your step. The sharks had a lot of questions—and compliments—about how it might change the game in athletics.

- AI-Powered Goal That Returns the Ball – Tired of chasing after your missed shots? One camper solved that problem with a smart soccer/basketball goal that uses AI to track and return the ball to the player. The room lit up with applause at this time-saving invention.

- Self-Cleaning Water Bottle with Hydration Tracker – This hygienic and high-tech water bottle not only keeps itself clean but also keeps tabs on how much you drink during the day. A must-have for active campers and busy parents alike!
- 3D Printing Made Easy App – Bridging the gap between tech lovers and everyday users, this app would simplify the process of designing and printing in 3D. Even the sharks said they’d download it today!

The campers were poised, prepared, and persuasive—each one bringing their unique voice to their pitch. The sharks didn’t go easy on them, asking thoughtful questions and giving real feedback, but they were blown away by the campers’ confidence and innovation.
By the end of the session, it was clear: the future is bright—and possibly invented right here at camp.
Way to go, young entrepreneurs!
