Basking Ridge Week 7 – Spotlight on Shark Tank!

This week at Basking Ridge, campers in Shark Tank Entrepreneurs are learning what it takes to design a new product from start to finish. The ultimate goal is for each camper to give a presentation on their product at the end of the week, including the product design, a model with labels, demographic information, and why the sharks should invest!

After brainstorming, one camper decided that he wants to create a water bottle with an edible cap called “SipSavr.” The caps would come in multiple flavors to appeal to a broad market. His inspiration for the product is because he wants to reduce plastic waste and protect sea life in case the bottle caps end up going into the ocean. We love an eco-conscious invention, especially one that aims to address the real-life problem of plastic pollution in our waterways!
