At International Ivy, our youngest campers in the Wee STEAMers class have been busy learning, exploring, and building important skills—one veggie at a time! Designed for 4 to 6 year olds, this class blends early science learning with hands-on activities that strengthen fine motor skills in a fun and engaging way.

This week, our Wee STEAMers explored the colorful world of vegetables. Campers learned to identify different veggies, talk about where they come from, and even discover why they’re good for our bodies. The highlight? Practicing careful cutting skills with safe, kid-friendly tools! These little learners worked hard on holding scissors correctly, cutting along lines, and snipping pretend and real veggies, building both confidence and coordination.
Not only are they gaining early STEAM knowledge, but they’re also developing important life skills in a playful, supportive environment. We’re so proud of our youngest Ivy campers for their focus, curiosity, and creativity. Watch out! These Wee STEAMers are growing fast!
