Description: Step into the world of architecture and engineering! In Designing Shelters, students explore how real architects design structures to protect people and animals from sun, heat, wind, and rain. Through hands-on experiments and creative building challenges, students test materials, study shade and temperature, and design their own model shelters. Working in teams, they plan, build, test, and improve designs—developing problem-solving, collaboration, and design-thinking skills along the way.
