Basking Ridge has Got Talent!

This week’s theme is “Camp’s Got Talent,” and the Basking Ridge campers are positively bursting with talent! Everyone has a talent, and some of our campers were brave enough to take to the stage to show off their skills.

We had a number of musical acts, from singing along to Taylor Swift and the Minecraft movie, performing “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman, a musical version of the poem “You Are My Sunshine”, a saxophone solo, a violin solo, and a musician who won a trophy at Carnegie Hall for her piano skills!

We also had quite a few magicians in our midst who dazzled us with card tricks, pulled a rabbit out of a hat, and solved a Rubix cube without moving the corners!

Artists showed off their doodle designs, sculptures, charcoal drawings, and canvas paintings. We turned up the heat with a demonstration of quadrobics (aerobics on all fours, simulating the movements of animals in the wild) and witnessed a camper set his personal best speed record by solving a Rubix cube in 17 seconds!

We are SO impressed by the talents of all our campers, both on the stage and off. Keep shining!!
