Class Spotlight: Minecraft Advanced

This week here in Somerset, we had super fun class called Minecraft Advanced!

In this class campers ages 9-12 learn some of the advanced Minecraft techniques to take them from beginners to pros. This week they have been learning about Redstone and how to use it to make various traps to protect their bases. Redstone works as a type of electricity and wiring system in Minecraft, so it gets quite complicated when trying to wire up a huge trap, but the campers were able to learn it quickly. Also the campers started on a multiplayer survival zombie apocalypse world where they all needed to work together to complete tasks and fight off the zombies. This mode is too difficult to do on their own, so the campers can’t complete the map if they don’t all work together!
