Comic Creation: Piecing Together the Protagonists

Our creative-writing campers open the week with enthusiasm as they plan to bring their imaginations to life! On the first day of story writing, these campers have already drawn out their protagonists and determined the conflicts these characters must face. One camper decided to write a story titled “Froggy and the Terrifying Threats of the Traumatizing Titano Trapper.” While making the exposition of their story, they explained that they used alliteration to make the title more appealing. This story would entail the adventure of a frog and his tadpole brother to defeat a villain who despises nature. The other campers also chose to write about superhero protagonists, but one camper truly stood out by deciding on a horror story. This frightening horror story will tell the tale of a miner finding his doppelganger in the mines he frequents; the miner then attempts to uncover the mystery of this mysterious figure. This week, our authors and illustrators have major plans ahead!
