Double Youngster Action!! -Chatham Week 8

Chatham’s got a jam-packed week with biggest week of the summer so far! And with that comes a whole lot of our youngest campers in the pack–the youngsters of course!

In the AM, we have “Youngsters: Engineering” and “Youngsters: Right Brain;” and in the PM, we have “Youngsters: Chemistry” and “Youngsters: Left Brain.”

Today in Engineering, youngsters were learning all about measurement and participated in an activity where they predicted the size of various household objects and then compared their prediction to the actual size.

In Right Brain, youngsters are learning about Germany! They recreated the German flag with paint and made origami hats to go along with them as well!

In Youngsters Chemistry, the youngsters did an experiment with skittles and various liquids to see how the colors spread.

In Youngsters Left Brain, the youngsters built the Lego WeDo sets and made different designs then were able to program them to move around.

We’re so glad to have all of these youngsters this week!
