Fun with Vex IQ Robotics in Short Hills

Today at Short Hills we are showcasing our Robotics with Vex IQ! Campers are building robots and then programming them to accomplish challenges that the class set out for them to do. For example, campers were learning how to perform basic movements such as turning and spinning. As the day progressed, the class held competitions amongst the class such as a race that tested their programming skills. Then, the campers deconstructed their robot to accomplish a different task! This included modifying a given line of code and navigating a “garage” using sensors. The culmination of skill will be tested at the end of the week where the campers will build their own battle bots and duel each other!
