Kitchen Chemistry

This week in Somerset. Campers took kitchen chemistry which mixes in the sciences of food into cooking .Making it not just a fun activity but a learning experience. Campers made cloud bread through which they were taught how the yeast easts up the sugar making the bread rise. Campers made layers of earth using Oreo’s and pudding which was delicious! They also made lava lamps learning how bubbles are made through the oil and pizza. Chemistry and science is made so much more interesting and campers get to see it take place through the food they make!
