Packed Friday in Short Hills!

Many classes today decided to wrap up with a final project! Between lemonade stands, competitions, debates, and more, there was a lot of fun!

Our Lemonade Stand Entrepreneurs sold their prized drinks! They worked very hard this week conducting market research by asking others about their lemonade preferences. Then, they taste tested all of the combinations of regular and pink lemonade with varieties of fruity flavors to find their favorite, and are now ready to see how their perfected concoctions will sell!

Meanwhile, Ice Cream Engineering had a competition for the best tasting homemade ice cream! Each group of two created their own recipe with flavors including orange, peppermint, lemon, and banana. Then, everyone voted for their favorite and peppermint was voted to the top!

Also, the Debate and Public Speaking class held a debate over the pros and cons of space exploration! After both groups gave their opening statements, students told the audience of three judges many fascinating points and rebuttals. After their closing statements, the judges decided which group had the best argument. The cons of space exploration were decided to be the most convincing!

All classes did an amazing job wrapping up. It has been a great five days and we can’t wait to see what happens next week!
