Exploring Dinosaurs to Old Worlds, Ages 6-8

Description:
Step into the shoes of an archaeologist and embark on a journey through time! In this hands-on course, young explorers will uncover the mysteries of ancient civilizations and learn the fascinating techniques scientists use to excavate long-lost cities.

What We’ll Discover:

  • Unearthing History: Study ancient tools, artifacts, and everyday items to understand how people lived in the past.
  • Fascinating Finds: Examine bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils, and uncover the stories they tell about history and the natural world.
  • Archaeological Techniques: Learn how archaeologists dig, map, and analyze their findings to piece together historical puzzles.

Make-and-Take Projects:
Each day, students will create their own treasures to bring home, such as:

  • A fossil reproduction to showcase the secrets of prehistoric life.
  • An amber time capsule to preserve a personal piece of history.
  • Unique coins inspired by currencies from around the world.
