Summer Fun Takes Off! Scotch Plains 2025 Week 1

The first week of summer at the International Ivy Scotch Plains location has been nothing short of amazing! After years of anticipation, our doors have officially reopened: our Scotch Plains campers and staff are back in action! The first week of camp has already been filled with laughter, learning, and the kind of fun that makes summer unforgettable. It’s been so inspiring to watch both new and returning campers dive into the activities, forming new friendships and discovering new passions.

This week, we also had a special treat with our first Thursday Theme Day of the summer: Sports Day! It was a highlight that brought out the competitive and team spirit in every camper. Whether it was showcasing their favorite team’s jersey, dressing up in sporty gear, or simply cheering for their friends, the campers truly went all out. Sports Day was a whirlwind of athletic energy: Throughout the day, campers got to take part in a variety of outdoor games and activities that tested their teamwork and sportsmanship. From badminton, to darts, to frisbee (and even some coloring!), the enthusiasm was contagious as kids showed off their skills and learned new games they may have never tried before.

The first week at Scotch Plains has been a great reminder of how special our camps are. Here’s to an amazing reopening and a summer filled with laughter, growth, and plenty of memories to last a lifetime. Let the adventure continue!
