Week 5 at Basking Ridge; PM Recap!

It was an awesome morning filled with lots of fun, big smiles and learning. In Environmental Science, our campers are learning about symbiosis and have prepared a banana with added yeast to demonstrate decomposition. The youngsters in We-do robotics are learning about direction and speed with cars to understand how they can program their robots. Escape room is doing a scavenger hunt in the classroom, where they find classroom objects to match each category. In Junior Physicians the campers are learning about the anatomy of the human body using a model that includes all organs which can be deconstructed and actually feel like the ones in our body! Our campers in Shoebox Theater are learning about the different parts that make up a theater as well as what exciting projects they will be working on this week; hand puppets and their own stage. Finally, Chemical Engineering is learning about polymers and how that material can be used with the engineering design method for analysis and future designs. We are looking forward to continuing a great week and are excited for our theme Thursday; Halloween in July!
