Week 7 at Basking Ridge is BIGGER than Ever!

Basking Ridge is back with another week of camp! As we loom towards the end of summer and the eventual start of the new school year, our camp has been working tirelessly to create the best experience for our campers. At Basking Ridge, we are kicking week 7 off with our awesome classes. For the first time this year, Basking Ridge has a Virtual Reality class, which teaches students to create experiences that can be viewed in a VR headset. Another new class that was a fan favorite since even our counselors were campers is Minecraft! The class provokes the creative and innovative mind to work in a fun way that allows students to socialize and work together. How about our reoccurring classes? Lemonade Stand is one of these classes, and it’s back! The class teaches students the foundations and principles of entrepreneurship, and allows them to create their own stand to sell lemonade with prop money! Can’t forget our youngster classes, which helps campers with fun and educational activities. Our debate class also makes another debut this week, in which students learn the art of debate and public speaking.

This week’s theme is tropical themed! Campers are encouraged, (but not required), to bring their tropical themed outfits for an ivy point. Whether its a Hawaiian shirt, or some cool sunglasses, we are eager to see our campers in their tropical themed clothing. We’re happy to see our campers, both new and returning. We’re hoping for this week to be great for every kid, and for them to have a memorable experience!
