Welcome to Week 6 at Basking Ridge: AM Classes!

Welcome back everyone! We are now in Week 6 of classes; it’s crazy how fast time is flying by this summer! For this week’s star lineup, we have our very promising programmers in Scratch Beginners learning about the Scratch software, how to navigate it, and trying out some small programs. In Podcasting, the campers are listening to examples of good podcasts and seeing what qualities to replicate to become engaging and informative podcasters themselves. In Murder Mystery, our expert planners are in the early stages of setting the scene: they are going over their potential characters as well as interesting plot lines to explore further in the week! In Chemistry, our youngsters are having a blast learning about capillary action by dipping stained coffee filters in water and seeing how the colors move. In Fabric Arts, the kids are getting the hang of knitting; they’re already doing awesome and we can’t wait to update you on their projects later in the week! Finally, our junior archeologists in Exploring Dinosaurs are learning about how paleontologists discover fossils that tell us tales from millions of years ago! Overall, the week has only just begun yet there seems to be so much fun and excitement in the air! We can’t wait to update you with more promising adventures throughout the week!
