Youngsters Right Brain Take Over Short Hills Week 3

Hi everyone! We are the youngster right brain class. In our class we do yoga, learn about different countries, and read books. On Tuesday we started our class with Ninja Turtle and dinosaur yoga. On other days we tried pirate yoga and Minecraft yoga. We liked the dinosaur and Minecraft the best! The country we are learning about this week is Spain. We have talked about the similarities and differences between the Spain flag and the United States flag, and even colored our own. On Wednesday, we learned about Pablo Picasso and made our own cubism drawing and lily pad craft. We learned about festivals where people throw tomatoes and also the running of the bulls. This week we are reading The Berenstain Bear books. Today we read Trouble with Pets. It was about the bears getting a puppy and taking care of it. We also read The Berenstain Bears’ Show and Tell and Too Much TV. During break times our class loved doing limbo outside and doing Just Dance inside. It was a great week at camp!
