Youngster WeDo: On Your Marks, Get Set, Code!

This past week, the Youngsters have been putting their creativity and coding skills to the test in our Youngster WeDo class! The campers began by assembling their Lego race cars, a task that develops fine motor, creativity, and problem solving skills.

Next, the Youngsters used WeDo coding to program their Lego cars to move forwards, backwards, and to stop. WeDo even lets the campers add music to their code!

Finally, it was time to put their cars to the test! Using the Red Light, Green Light game the Youngsters competed against one another to see which car would reach the finish line first! The campers had a productive and fun week full of coding, creativity, and competition!
