The energy at camp today was absolutely electric as we officially kicked off Heritage Week with the grand opening of the 2026 Ivy Olympics! To celebrate our diverse world, each class has picked a specific country to represent throughout the week. Our campers have proudly stepped into the shoes of global athletes, bringing incredible team spirit, cultural pride, and intense focus to our camp country challenges.
🦆 AM Challenge: The Great Rubber Duck Hunt
We started the morning with a massive, camp-wide race against the clock. The brilliant campers in our Escape and Scavenger Hunt class took the reins, designing and leading an unforgettable Rubber Duck Hunt!
There were no riddles to solve today, just pure, fast-paced hunting. The organizers hid exactly 90 rubber ducks all throughout the Chatham Day campus. Our campers sprinted across the grounds, scouring every corner to find as many ducks as possible for their team. It was incredible to see the countries working together, scanning the fields, and racking up points at lightning speed.

🏃 PM Challenge: The Olympic Obstacle Courses
After fueling up at lunch, the competition shifted to pure athletic endurance and agility. The afternoon featured a series of intense Olympic Obstacle Courses!
Campers leaped, crawled, sprinted, and balanced their way through the courses to score critical points for their chosen nations. The sidelines were roaring with chants and cheers as teammates lifted each other up and pushed across the finish line.

🔮 Looking Ahead: The Games Continue!
This is only the beginning of an epic week. With the leaderboard already tight, we look forward to more thrilling challenges over the coming days as our global campers updated standings, photo galleries, and more highlights from the 2026 Ivy Olympics!
