Campers wrapped up another exciting week filled with creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning. In Mad Machines, campers explored how levers make everyday tasks easier through demonstrations and interactive activities. AI Art and Music Makers designed original albums complete with cover art, artist names, and short biographies. In Biomedical Engineering, students worked in pairs to design shoes based on outlines of their feet and later collaborated to build a model knee brace using Wiffle balls, duct tape, craft sticks, and cardboard. Mock Trial campers examined court documents, analyzed exhibits, identified suspects, and researched famous judges. Meanwhile, Junior Physicians learned about the human body by creating skeleton cutouts and modeling cells with slime, pom-poms, and beads.

In the afternoon, Math of Money campers practiced calculating correct change while strengthening their decimal addition and subtraction skills. Act It Out students participated in improvisation activities and creative scenarios that encouraged quick thinking, confidence, and problem-solving. In Debate, campers completed a lively discussion about homework versus no homework, with both sides presenting strong opinions and supporting arguments. Website Creation campers focused on two topics of interest—planes and fish—and read numerous articles to find accurate facts and engaging images for their websites. It was a wonderful week of exploration, skill-building, and creative accomplishments!
