Boots, Bandanas, and Big Adventures

This week’s camp theme was Country Western, and campers fully embraced the spirit by dressing up in boots, flannels, cowboy hats, and colorful bandanas. Everyone looked ready for a day on the ranch! During break, campers learned a simple line dance and had a blast showing off their new moves to a variety of country songs. Campers also put their flexibility to the test with several exciting rounds of limbo, cheering each other on as they tried to make it under the bar. It was a fun-filled week of dancing, games, and Western-themed excitement!

The morning was packed with creativity, learning, and hands-on fun across all of our activities. Youngsters Left built with LEGO bricks and put their math skills to the test through a variety of engaging games. Murder Mystery campers began writing their own original stories after finding inspiration from games and movies. In Digital Art, campers learned how to create stop-motion animations on their iPads, bringing a tennis game to life one frame at a time. Website Creation proudly presented the first edition of their websites to an audience, receiving valuable feedback to help improve their designs. Meanwhile, Engineering Ice Cream campers got creative by making delicious dirt cups and chocolate-dipped strawberries.

Our afternoon campers kept the excitement going! AI Storytelling continued developing stories inspired by AI-generated images and are now working on adding music to bring their creations to life. Stock Market campers kicked off their third day of trading, continuing to build their investing skills. In Myth Busting, campers discovered the science behind using lemon juice as invisible ink. Youngsters Right continued their exploration of Mexico by learning more about its rich culture and traditions. Finally, Storytelling campers are well into developing their plots and bringing their stories to life with each passing day.

It was another fantastic day at camp filled with creativity, teamwork, learning, and plenty of Country Western fun. We can’t wait to see what adventures tomorrow brings!
