This week, campers dove into the world of mystery fiction in the Murder Mystery class. They kicked off with thrilling role-play games, taking on the roles of suspects and detectives to solve who committed the crime and how it was done. After analyzing short mystery stories, campers applied what they learned to craft their own original cases complete with crimes, suspects, motives, clues, and red herrings. Working together to solve and create mysteries, these young writers sharpened their storytelling skills and uncovered the secrets to great narrative writing.
