Sweet Treats at Saddle River: Week 7, 2026

Students get a fun introduction to food science in our Engineering of Ice Cream class. Each day, they make a new dessert and learn about the science behind its creation. They made astronaut desserts and learned how food is freeze dried and then rehydrated. Today they made Rice Krispie Treats from scratch. At the end of the week, they’ll finally learn how ice cream is made!
